LEGENDS OF FUZZ BERKELEY

In 1973, Seamoon Inc. released their flagship fuzz pedal: the Fresh Fuzz. This unique and somewhat odd distortion pedal gained popularity at the feet of artists like Tom Scholz (Boston) and guitar virtuoso Eric Johnson. This is our tribute to the rarer single op amp 741 version (V1).

CONTROLS

GAIN – Controls overall output volume. Left is less, right is more.
BITE – Controls the amount of fuzz. Left is less, right is more.
JHS MODE – “Bright” switch, greatly increases the treble frequency response.

JACKS

INPUT -1/4” jack on the right side of the pedal.
OUTPUT – 1/4” jack on the left side of the pedal.
POWER – Uses 9V DC Negative Center. 4mA consumption. Do not use more than 9V DC, or your warranty will be voided. The Brekeley does allow for battery operation via a single 9V battery. Just loosen the two rear screws from the enclosure and the backplate will swing open. On the inside you will see a battery clip to install the battery into. Have fun!
