Spaceman Cosmic Call

Utilizing complex note envelope processing and tone synthesis, the Cosmic Call is a breakthrough in discrete pitch management.
This monophonic pitch transposer will allow you to broadcast on the ELF/VLF bands in the range of 40Hz – 4kHz, using your instrument to transmit galactic messages. A Latency-free Automatic Sweeping Envelope Response (L.A.S.E.R.) mode, enables sweeping the oscillator via your playing dynamics. The Cosmic Call is our most unique, cutting edge design to date.

In addition to transforming your sound into a manually actuated binary data stream for intergalactic transmission, the Cosmic Call may be configured as a Ring Modulator via the small slide switch inside the unit. The amplitude (and pitch in L.A.S.E.R. mode) of the oscillator is modulated by your dynamics, and will gate the carrier signal when you’re not playing. However you use it, the Cosmic Call will prepare your signal for the exciting journey across the universe.

VOLUMEOutput volume of the effect
COARSEAdjusts the pitch of the internal oscillator and sweep range in L.A.S.E.R. mode
FINEPrecision pitch control of the internal oscillator and low sweep limit in L.A.S.E.R. mode
BYPASSFootswitch – True-bypass soft-touch relay switching to engage and disengage the effect. To enter L.A.S.E.R. mode, apply power to the pedal with the footswitch held down.

The Cosmic Call requires external power of 9-24V DC, negative
center (ps-nc.png ) via the 2.1mm jack next to the output jack. The
Cosmic Call has a high 1M ohm input impedance and a maximum
current draw of 47mA when the effect is engaged. Please contact
Spaceman if you are unsure about your DC adapter.

All Spaceman pedals are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
