Polaris is a smooth medium-gain overdrive, with incredibly flexible tone
sculpting capabilities.

The DRIVE control offers gain in a very useful and wide range, from just a touch of harmonics, to a robust medium-gain overdrive that borders on distortion when maxed. The LEVEL control sets your output volume.

The shinning beacon of Polaris is contained within its unique tone shaping center at the heart of the control panel. The FILTER control is extremely effective and powerful, with three filter options selectable via the DEPTH toggle switch. In the left position is a standard singlepole low-pass filter. In the center, you’ll find a deeper 2-pole filter for serious sculpting. The right position is a 2-pole resonant filter for the most extreme shaping. All three filter options are fully sweepable via the EXP jack, using a standard expression pedal or expression device, to add inspiring movement within your overdrive tones.

The BASS toggle switch offers three options for keeping your low frequencies under control. To the left is a tasteful bass-cut, center is full-pass, and right is a gentle bass boost.
The INITIAL control blends in your raw, pre-filter overdrive tone.

Using this unique control in conjunction with the filters allows for some serious tone shaping, by re-introducing the raw signal to balance more extreme filter settings.

This pedal utilizes true-bypass switching. An audio quality 9v DC adapter with negative center should be used, with the 2.1mm (standard pedal style) jack located next to the output jack. There is no battery option for this model.
